Joyful Noise!

December 18 will be the last time JN! will sing with Tom & Becki as directors. All JN! alums are invited to sing with Joyful Noise! on Sunday, Dec 18 at the 9:00 & 10:30 services. There will be a rehearsal for alumni on Saturday, Dec 17 at 11:00AM. There will be a reception at church at noon on 12/18. All JN! alums are invited! Please invite your JN! alum friends. Due to stupid weather we are canceling our trip to the corn maze. Sorry.

Hi Everybody, Thanks for an awesome first rehearsal last week. Please keep inviting your friends. It makes it more fun for all. It’s never too late to join.

SHARP STREET PARADE – JN! will be marching in the parade on Saturday, 9/10. We’ll meet at Sherwood High School at NOON. Please wear a JN! shirt. Everything else is up to you – as long as it is appropriate. If you don’t have a shirt, you can borrow one or buy one for $10 (you’ll need it every time we sing). JN! Alumni are welcome to march with us. There will be a picnic at Sharp Street UMC immediately following. After that, there will be a pool party at our house. This is gonna be FUN!!!
PARENTS – We will need you to help transport and chaperone.

SAFETY SUNDAY -All are invited and encouraged to attend this event on Sunday, Sept. 11, from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in the OEUMC parking lot! Focus will be on safety by encouraging all families to fill out registration/permission/medical forms for their children and teens, and also for volunteers to fill out the necessary Safe Sanctuary forms. Free hotdogs and hamburgers, a moon bounce and police and fire fighter presentations for the kids, and fellowship with our church family. Anyone interested in helping out with JN! or other youth or children’s ministries, must complete Safe Sanctuaries training.
