Youth Kickoff September 10th 4:30-8 pm: If you’re a parent or adult who would love the blessing of serving at this annual event please let Allison know! (asarracino at oeumc dot org) We are excited to offer this outreach program to our youth every year and you have the opportunity to be a part of it! This year we’ll have a rock climbing wall, joust, extreme bungee bounce, ultimate sports challenge, dunk tank, worship with Dependent, pizza, drinks, cotton candy, and Marble Slab Creamery for sale!
Adult Small Group Opportunity during Joyful Noise! Parents, here’s a great way to participate in our church wide study in a small group of “If You Want to Walk on Water, You’ve Got To Get Out of the Boat†Led by Doug and Cindy Strong. Start the Year Right Night September 17th : Picture hundreds of teens, worship music led by a student praise band, praising God together, and hearing a great message! We’ll be going to this awesome event for the youth of Montgomery County to be held at UMD Shady Grove. Meet at the church at 5:45 pm with a permission slip. This is a free event! Walk for the Homeless October 1st: OEUMC Youth Ministry is sponsoring the Walk for the Homeless on October 1st at 12:30 pm in our Oakdale parking lot. Anyone can walk no matter how old you are! Registration is $15 for those age 25 years and younger and $20 for those age 25 years and older and will be starting in September. All proceeds go to Shepherd’s Table in their daily service of feeding and helping the homeless of Montgomery County.
